Teresa Porter recently opened her home for a patron party generating excitement for the upcoming whimsical fundraiser for Shining Stars Foundation. The Mad Hatter’s Garden Party will be held Saturday evening, Aug. 18 at the Denver Botanic Gardens and chaired by Michael Ditchfield and Laura Calabrese Kruger. The inaugural event – a walkabout soiree – will feature silent and live auctions, wine and champagne tastings, bites from some of Denver’s finest restaurants, exciting fashion contests and the ambiance of stunning Denver Botanic Gardens. In addition, the event will pay special tribute to the late Denver philanthropist and restaurateur Noel Cunningham who was a loyal supporter of Shining Stars Foundation. The mission of Shining Stars Foundation is to transform lives through year-round recreational and social programs for children ages 8-18 and their immediate families challenged with pediatric cancer or other life-threatening illness at no cost to the participants.
