Ocean Prime, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ nationally-acclaimed modern American restaurant and lounge, announces the promotion of Ryan Finnegan to Executive Chef of its Denver Tech Center (DTC) location, which will celebrate its one year anniversary mid-November.
“Ryan’s promotion from Executive Sous Chef to Executive Chef is extremely well-deserved,” says Aaron Wesley, General Manager of Ocean Prime DTC. “With his depth of experience and passion for people, I firmly believe that he will soon be one of the most celebrated chefs in South Metro Denver.”
Finnegan brings more than 18 years of industry experience to the team. He worked in a variety of restaurants starting at a young age and quickly became interested in cooking and hospitality, eventually deciding to make a career of it. He and his wife moved to Denver several years ago, and he spent time working at a prominent local steakhouse before joining the team as Executive Sous Chef of Ocean Prime DTC.
“When the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at the chance to join the Ocean Prime team,” says Finnegan. “The company’s people-first culture creates a unique atmosphere where quality permeates everything we do, especially the food we create from scratch every day.”
