The red carpet was out at Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel when dozens of Hollywood and local celebrities were on hand to help raise funds for Global Down Syndrome Foundation (Global). Be Beautiful Be Yourself (BBBY) is the largest fundraiser of its kind in the world. Stars Colin Farrell and Zack Gottsagen were recipients of the 2018 Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award. 2018 Ambassador Sam Levin and Sophia Whitten, daughter of Tom and Michelle Sie Whitten was on the runway with Colin Farrell. Von Miller caused a stir when he offered his patterned custom suit for the live auction and Case Keenum bid $25,000 and proceeded to wear the jacket onstage. Emcees were Kim Christiansen and Tom Green from 9NEWS. Global Down Syndrome Foundation is at the forefront of research, medical care, education and advocacy dedicated to significantly improving the lives of people with Down syndrome. Global supports the research of hundreds of scientists around the world through its advocates, partners and affiliates including the Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome and the Anna and John Sie Center for Down Syndrome.
