For decades Volunteers of America (VOA) has presented its Red Wine and Seafood event.
In its 21st year, the seafood stations offered a spectrum to please every palate from oysters to colossal shrimp and paella to miniature apple empanadas for the finale and much, much more. Clever décor to support the theme Cool Havana Nights was enhanced by many in the crowd sporting Panama hats and splashy summer attire.
A silent auction kept bidders busy while others circulated throughout the Grand Ballroom at the Oxford Hotel enjoying the abundant red wine bar selections and fun delectibles from Sage Hospitality and Sage Restaurant Group. The fine food and wine fundraiser will benefit homeless women served by VOA.
