Conveniently located at 5555 DTC Parkway in Greenwood Village, the Colorado Athletic Club – DTC caters to elite corporate professionals who value their fitness and their time, according to Rachel Milhoan, general manager.
The 40,000 square-foot DTC location was completely refreshed in December 2018. The whole club makeover included new furnishings, an executive workspace lobby, updated studio lighting and new workout equipment, including Stages Solo bikes and a new functional training floor.’
The little-used basketball court was replaced with the area’s first 5,000 square-foot Atlas Arena that includes a slam wall, platforms and racks for crossfit-style workouts, Myzone heart rate monitoring, the latest in boxing equipment, and sports conditioning turf, including tires and sleds. This new cutting-edge upscale workout equipment was added to serve the needs of busy club members who want to use their workout time most efficiently with up-to-date technology and techniques.
The club still has all the latest traditional equipment its members expect, along with 90 studio fitness classes, including body pump, studio cycling, regular, hot and fire yoga classes, all at no extra charge. Matts, blocks and straps are also provided.
Studios in the club are well-equipped.
Colorado Athletic Club – DTC’s goal is to simplify people’s lives while enhancing their health. There is free coffee and tea in the executive workspace lobby. Upscale locker rooms have all the personal hair and body products one would expect, along with hair dryers and even curling irons. While this location does not provide child care, kids can get swim lessons at the club’s swimming pool.
The club is managed by Greenwood Village-based Wellbridge, which has managed health clubs for 35 years and presently operates in Maryland, Massachusetts, Georgia, Florida, Missouri and New Mexico, in addition to its seven Colorado locations. Wellbridge “works closely with each location to understand their clientele and culture.”
An executive work area to use while drinking complimentary coffee or tea allows members to get their workouts and meet work schedule needs.
Updated lobby furniture is made for members’ relaxation.
