St. Mary’s Academy hosted the Happy Trails & Cocktails Gala on April 20 at Mile High Station. More than $230,000 was raised to support St. Mary’s Academy Tuition Assistance Fund. SMA recognizes that enrollment requires a significant financial commitment and works hard to make an SMA education affordable. In the 2011-2012 school year, more than $1 million was awarded in tuition assistance to boys and girls at all grade levels. This year at the gala, the bidding floor was opened for donations to the newly created Sister Susan Swain Endowed Financial Aid Fund to support student financial aid for students in the Lower School in her honor.
