A professional rodeo will be among the attractions at the Arapahoe County Fair.

The Arapahoe County Fair, July 20-24, is sure to thrill with pro rodeos, carnival rides, a petting zoo, a demolition derby, a modified tractor pull and more. Fairgoers will find their dollar goes a long way with gate admission that includes parking and full access to all the entertainment and events.

Some of the new events include trick dogs, chainsaw artists, motorcycle stunts and a stick-horse rodeo sponsored by the National Western Stock Show.

A $49,000, 26-carat diamond bracelet is the top item up for bid at the March 5 Denver Center for the Performing Arts benefit, Saturday Night Alive. Sharon Magness Blake, co-chair with hubby Ernie Blake, was modeling the bauble at the SNA Patron Party last week at the Westin Tabor Center. Sharing the spotlight were three Alliance leaders. Gayle Novak is outgoing president, giving her gavel to Jill Behr in May and Susan Stiff will become president-elect.
