Bright Horizons offers a great library for the children. Cut3: Bright Horizons Staff, Greenwood Village Chamber staff, and proud moms and dads cut the ribbon to the new school at Greenwood Plaza.
The newly remolded school at the Bright Horizons Montessori at Greenwood Plaza hosted the ribbon cutting ceremony for the three Bright Horizons Montessori schools located in Greenwood Village/DTC area.
Programs are based on the work of Maria Montessori who said, “Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment.”
Bright Horizons Montessori schools are affiliated with the American Montessori Society.

Children develop at their own pace, in a carefully prepared environment, under the guidance of trained Montessori teachers. Many of the teachers at the school have been teaching at that location for more than 10 years. The distinctive Montessori environment appreciates beauty, the natural world and child-scaled furnishings to create a wonderful child’s world. At Bright Horizons, their goal is to empower children to become confident and successful, life-long learners, and secure caring people. They help children to see the world as an invitation to learn, to grow, and to live fully and to see a world full of possibilities that are within their reach.
Three years ago Bright Horizons took over the school that has been there for 22 years. They have added a library and totally remolded the school. They have added new video security and upgraded the classrooms. The school will accommodate up to 217 children ranging from Nido’s (infants) through kindergarten.
