GREENWOOD VILLAGE – The 10th annual Taste of Greenwood Village will take place on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Palazzo Verdi Event Center next to the Comfort Dental Amphitheater.
The 10th anniversary celebration brings the event to the heart of Greenwood Village at The Madden Museum of Art and Palazzo Verdi at Fiddler’s Green. The John Madden Company headquartered in Greenwood Plaza, has received national attention for its innovative approach to master planning and development, and received many awards for mixing art, architecture and landscaping. Palazzo Verdi provides the perfect setting for the 10th anniversary combining fabulous food and wine with a special evening of beautiful indoor and outdoor art, accompanied by live music.
Hosted by the Greenwood Village Chamber of Commerce, this year there will be three events combined in one evening, and tiered prices will be offered for attendees. First, there will be a limited seating, black-tie optional, fine dining experience. “Madden Museum Masterpiece” features a fine dining experience, a private wine tasting and art show in the Madden Museum accompanied by live music. Next is the Italian Jazz Quartet – “A Taste Above,” which features four local Italian restaurants coming together to prepare an Italian dinner feast surrounded by the sounds of jazz. Seating in this area is limited to 100 tickets for the evening. And finally, our popular food and wine main event, “Taste under the Stars,” will feature more than 30 restaurants and wineries.
Wine Source of Colorado will present outstanding winemakers with their portfolios from 75 wineries representing the leading wine regions of the world. Owners Gary and Aaron Steinke continue their tradition of providing a wide variety of boutique wines at the Taste of Greenwood Village.
The event provides patrons both domestic and international boutique wines for tasting, as well as the opportunity to order favorite selections during the evening for local delivery or pickup after the event.
Event times are 5:30 – 10 p.m. for the indoor and outdoor venue and from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. for the sit down dining. As in previous years, the popular tradition continues of providing the all-inclusive evening (food, wine, general parking) to our 21 and older patrons.
Patrons of the Taste of Greenwood Village event will be able to view the gorgeous array of silent auction items under the beautiful chandelier in the marble Atrium. All proceeds from the silent auction benefit the ongoing community services provided by the Beacon Center.
