If you haven’t sent in or dropped off your ballot for the primary election, you have until Aug. 10.
Ballots are due Aug. 10 for the primary election.
The ballots were mailed out in July to voters registered Democratic, Republican or Libertarian.
“Since the primary election is a nominating process for the political parties, voters who are registered in one of the three major political parties will be eligible to cast a vote,” Doty said as ballots were being mailed out.
Doty said voters should use a black or blue ballpoint pen, and should avoid using markers or felt-tip pens as they can bleed through the ballot.
Voters also can mail their ballot to the county by placing 61 cents in postage on the envelope, or they can drop it off at any of the county’s 14 Mail Ballot Drop-off locations, which include:

In addition, Arapahoe County opened 2010 Primary Election Service Centers on Aug. 2. At these Service Centers, a voter will be able to register to vote, update their current voter registration, emergency register, request a new ballot, request a replacement ballot and drop off their voted ballot.
An electronic voting machine will be available at each of these locations for voters who wish to use one. This equipment provides audio and visual enhancements for voters with disabilities. The Service Centers are located at the Arapahoe County Administration Building and each of the Motor Vehicle Offices in Arapahoe County.
